Kentucky Humanities awards minigrants monthly up to $1,500. Please call the grants officer at (859) 257-5932 to discuss submission dates if you do not understand the deadlines as outlined.
PLEASE NOTE: All organizations must be registered in both DUNS and SAM and information MUST BE IDENTICAL IN BOTH DUNS and SAM. Instructions here.
Grant Deadlines

There is no preliminary application deadline. However, it is a required step in the application process. You are not eligible to submit a final proposal if you do not submit a preliminary application. There is a deadline for the final proposal as outlined above.
*All grants are dependent upon availability of federal funds.
Eight-Week Rule:
Final proposals (NOT preliminary applications) for minigrants must be postmarked by the first of the month AND at least 8 weeks prior to the public program supported by the minigrant. (i.e., for a December 15 event, the final proposal would be due by October 1st).
